Frequently asked questions about our services
How do I know which therapy is right for my child?
Every child is unique! We start with a comprehensive assessment by our team of therapists to understand your child’s developmental needs. Based on the results, we design a personalized therapy plan to target areas like speech delays, sensory issues, behavior management, or motor development.
How early can therapy for autism or speech delay start?
Therapy can begin as early as 18 months. Early intervention for speech delays, autism signs, and sensory issues leads to faster and better long-term developmental outcomes.
What is special about your sensory rooms at Little Miracles?
Our sensory rooms are carefully designed to support children with both hypersensitivity (over-responsiveness) and hyposensitivity (under-responsiveness). They include calming spaces with soft textures, lighting, and soothing equipment, as well as stimulating zones with swings, textured paths, and climbing activities, tailored to each child's sensory needs.
At what age should I consider therapy for my child?
Early intervention makes a big difference. If you notice delays in speech, walking, social interactions, or behavioral challenges in your child (typically between 12 months to 5 years), it’s the right time to consult with us. We work with children as young as 18 months for early screening and therapy planning.
How do I know if my child needs occupational therapy?
If your child struggles with fine motor skills (holding a spoon, buttoning clothes), sensory sensitivities (avoiding touch, certain textures), or daily activities like dressing and eating, an occupational therapy evaluation is recommended.
